Absolutely in for this, most of these as far as live times im assuming would be early in the AM here like WK9 and WWE's Tokyo show was?

The first show is even earlier, it's at 2 am. But the rest will be starting at 5-5:30 AM

I think next week's shows on July 23rd and 25th are being shown on tape delay.

Great work on the thread :salute: I'll add some matches, predictions and maybe some Observer history later on

2am for the first show, Meltzer usually puts the time zone in his preview (I think some others have better start times for the US)

Damn strong first show, the top two matches :banderas:

Word, that's perfect cuz I'm on the west coast. Thanks breh

Mutoh vs Chono final from 91. Quite a famous match, and one of the best matches either would ever have, crowd loved it so much that after the final bell they started throwing their seat cushions into the ring.

Hashimoto vs Tenryu from 98. Pretty brutal match. These two have years and years of violent matches with each other under their belt at this stage and are determined to finally kill each other in the G1.

And from 04 we have two of the stars of this year going at it, young Nakamura vs Shibata (who is basically the same) More of a shooty style for the first 5 or so minutes but after that a pretty usual NJPW finishing run. Short and interesting match.

It's just been confirmed on Twitter that Shibata said in a radio interview in Japan that he'll wrestling in the G1 tournament.

Thank God. It was uncertain whether his injury would keep him from doing so.
