Some shockers tonight.
Fale beat Tenzan with a drop off the top rope that was convincing enough for the pin. Neat little hoss match opener.
Yano completely stunned Shibata when he turned an armbar attempt over into a pin. Dude already had the audience before then. Shibata was especially nasty and worked heel practically.
Gallows/Tanahashi ended as expected, the flashy one wins the David versus Goliath match. Sneaks out a victory after looking like a rag doll. Thank everything he wasn't the final match, he does have heel level crowd milking skills.
The next bout was Styles/Makabe, which saw each man get the hell knocked out of them. Lots of advanced sequences. Makabe dishes out a fair amount of damage, but AJ was never in peril, and wins with the Styles Clash.
The headlining event - Ibushi vs. Naito. Yup, still trying to kill each other in the ring, in a good way

Naito is clearly excelling as a heel. He milked "getting ring ready" more than any other night, and as if he could give a fukk less. The red hair also accentuates the completeness of the turn. Speaking of red, our favorite ref stays getting that work

Ibushi had enough of that shyt, but the anger backfires, allowing Naito to slide into victory like a creep (but still look like he's good enough to not have to be so extra).
