Naito/Ibushi tore the house down as expected. The final 5-10 minutes was ridiculous. That second rope piledriver was nasty

I was not surprised that ZSJ upset Tanahashi because that's day 1 fukkery for you but winning via submission was a little shocking.

Tanahashi had an injured arm coming into the match. ZSJ worked it over the whole match. Tanahashi still had the upper hand for much of the match and could have won but Desperado interfered so ZSJ ended up locking in an arm based submission in the middle and Tana tapped

That Naito vs Ibushi match automatically entered my top 3 of this year Dudes trying to kill each other. Ibushi is right. If he and Omega have a match now someone is going to die.

Tana should skip this G1. His arm looks fukked up and Sabre stretching it like that doesn't help. No Ace No Ace

Watching that gif i can see that the camera angle disguises the safety. Ibushi tucks his legs in and his feet absorb some of the impact
