An a$$hole or just poor?:stopitslime:

Weddings are significantly cheaper off-weekend, that's almost certainly the reason he had on a Thursday. He likely scheduled it for the spring, in part, to increase the likelihood of his brother being able to attend.

You talking about 'inconveniencing' guests, but that's why "save the dates" are sent out. Most people working regular jobs can plan accordingly with their jobs to take the time off as needed. If you're unwilling to do that, attending that wedding just wasn't that important to you.

:gucci:

It's the NFL's fault for essentially making an voluntary workout mandatory. How can you be this dense?
He probably is poor but that doesn't mean people should put their career at risk because he's pinching pennies. You mean to tell me if you where in a Internship for a job you worked your whole life for with 50 other people, with the same or more skill as you. You would take the day off to go to a wedding on a fukking Wednesday!? Come on breh. The NFL ain't shyt but this scenario is life 00ⁿ

While I agree that it's a terrible day for a wedding:hhh:.. there could be a reason they picked that day. :yeshrug:

It's not like they sprung the day upon him the week before. Yes he is fighting for a spot but he should also not put all of his eggs in that one basket since he was fighting for a spot. It's not the NFL that put him in that position, but he did miss an opportune time to bond with family. Hind sight is 20/20 but his reality check got cashed a lot earlier than asomugha's.
I don't see it like that breh. His brother knew what he was fighting for and chose to save money.

What kind of job you working where you can never take a day off? Especially if you've been working it your whole life?

You'd have a better point if it was someone starting a new job shortly before the wedding date.

You're acting like dude told all his people he was getting married next Thursday. Weddings tend to have "Save the Dates" which go out 6-18 months before the actual date. And people in the inner circle (which I'd assume his brother was) they'd know they date even before the "Save the dates" go out. Aside from blackout dates (like Black Friday for retail, or tax season for accountants), if you can't get a day off, your job is the problem, not everyone else.

TYRONE GA!
NFL players have horrible contracts..... absolutely horrible

soccer >>> baseball >>>>NBA>>>>> some other random sport >>>>> NFL when it comes to contracts

NBA is very much the top dog fam.

NBA is much better than baseball. NBA cats have averaged more than Baseball players for almost 25 years now and the gap continues to widen.

NBA players are the highest paid by average AND median in the world bruh. Not even close. Average is 6.6 milli, with the median 3 mill. :damn:

MLB Average is 4.4 milli and the median is 1.5 (and that median is dropping).

Even more than the Euro league soccer clubs. The Premier league's average is the NBA median. That is WILD!!

NBA nikkaz are WINNING.

Meanwhile our NFL bruhs.... :mjcry:

Average is 2.1 milli but the median is 900k. :to:

Any player leaving the NFL with their mind intact is winning, so leaving with mind intact and money means you did real fukking well.

People like Nnamdi, Patrick Willis etc should be praised for leaving when they did.

A lot of people especially athletes can only live in the moment. They don't really cre too much about life after their mid 30's. If they did, they wouldn't play football.

It's actually hard for many people to think that far, especially if they grew up in poverty.
