Phil has been pretty average as a gm so far, but average is a big improvement over what the Knicks had prior sadly. If Phil gets fired, I'm worried that the next gm won't be able to keep Dolan at bay, and will be pressured into trading picks again or some shyt.

What is Hornecek doing that makes you think he isn't being pragmatic with his approach to coaching. They were ranked number 1 for improvements made after half time until KP got injured and number 1 for plays out of time outs. They need to fire that fukkboi Rambis who is supposed to be the damn defensive coordinator.

Phil isn't being fired because he is willing to take the abuse from the media. Dolan is such a known jackass it took somebody as a GM of Phil's character to get the media off of Dolan's ass. shyt before he was hired the fans wrote damn near death threats to Dolan and were doing protests in front of MSG
Phil is far from a clown but he has fukked up on a few things (Fisher, Noah, the Tyson trade). He's also had a few home runs (KP, Willy, Rose on an expiring, Hornecek). However, you really know why Dolan better not fire Phil? The Knicks have all those future 1st round picks!!!
That alone has made him the best Knicks GM since motherfukking Grunwald in the 90's and fans need to stfu and recognize that shyt
