This post is right on time for me. I've been "taking a break" from drinking since early this month, and:

1. I don't miss alcohol at all. I get intense sugar cravings sometimes, but that's it.
2. My body and mind obviously feel way better.
3. I broke my long ass plateau I was on with my weight loss.

I don't think I want to go back. I drank A LOT in my early adult life, so it doesn't really do much for me now, anyway.

Salute to the sober brehs, but I gotta ask.......how hard were some of y'all drinking?

While it's obvious that alcohol isn't good for you, 90% of daily life technically isn't. I think the occasional recreational drink is fine. Just can't be the bottle a weekend, or six pack a night type.
