Get a water filter jug and use the sink. Problem solved.not only have the obvious necessities like fuel and groceries skyrocketed, but my monthly necessities like natural gas and electricity have also gone up significantly in the last year or so.
so we are getting gouged from EVERY level these days.

I started at 30K after college and worked part time at McDonald’s and Wendy’s. I grinded my ass off. It’s also documented in this website/projectcovo.Some of these dudes act like the people making 6 figures now. Didn't start off making less than 40K a year. It's not impossible like some of these dudes make it seem. If it was easy everyone would do it.
Most people aren’t good with money though. Credit cards would ruin their lives.dave ramsey's one size fits all for saving and accumulating wealth does not work for quite a number of people.
most people are not able to pay their bills while saving 15% for retirement and funding a college fund. not to mention having a 3-6 month emergency fund. all while paying off ur crib early. his baby steps are kinda antiquated and out of touch if u ask me. some things dave ramsey says, I agree with, but not all. for instance he doesn't believe in credit cards, which is the opposite of what I believe. I want to pay everything with my credit cards, that way I'm getting 3-5% cash back for every transaction. he also believes in paying everything cash if possible. back when car and home loans were extremely cheap, it was more advantageous to use excess cash for investing because the rate of return is much greater than the cost of borrowing.
We got Uber and Doordash and instacart now.yes, but you're acting like food deserts aren't a thing.

@Gator Reloaded food deserts are a thing. even in 2022. despite people having apps to order shyt, it's not feasible for marginalized people with lesser incomes. yes they could order shyt delivery, but if they are already stretched thin, that's gonna make having a necessity like food have even more of a cost.We got Uber and Doordash and instacart now.
It isn’t that hard to get groceries as it once was.
Inner city has public transportation and people do have legs ya know.
