Its dissapointing for those of us who add music to wrestling or sports games.
I have added very specific marching band music to NCAA games for years.
I hope people complain enough to change this.

Not really a make or break for me, as I rarely play custom music in game (only games I even desire to are racers, sports, very select adventure games and fighters). It is mildly annoying tho.

I'm sure the no DLNA is 100% to combat piracy. The mp3 thing is probably 65 (piracy)-35 (push their Music service). I'd expect X1 to follow the same route re: DLNA as well.Was this done to combat piracy?
The thing that kills me, is how many of us have a PS3/360/both? All of us yeah? So the no DLNA issue shouldn't be that big of a deal. Hell, I can stream directly to my TV (which, ironically enough, is a Sony). PPL acting like this make or break are dumb as hell.

that said its the fact that they're changing it for the reasons you stated. I mean, this is a feature that goes back to Ridge Racer, taking out the disc and tossing in the CD you want to hear. Its just bs.
Its like sony and microsoft are doing everything they can to make people consider PC gaming even more. Why would I not?

It literally takes away from gaming experience. In driving games having your music loaded over stock EDM enhances experience. Taking it away over a cash grab is just garbage fam.
Doesn't break my decision to buy the PS4 either. Just means I'll never trade in my PS3.
What would be real demonic though is if Sony were to phase out the features from the PS3 but I'm sure they won't go to such lengths...
