When I was younger I was told things fall apart was a must read. What is it about?

RIP to the real one. I was very fortunate to meet him like 7-8 years ago for a project I did in 8th grade. He was speaking at the National Archives in DC.

He even signed a copy of my "Things Fall Apart" 50th Anniversary edition.
