What some very rich or old people have done with religion is atrocious and that's an understatement but religion itself isn't bad. In fact, it's what some people need in order to persevere. The black community needs whatever we can get in terms of maintaining morale.

Insulting how? Should everyone have the same beliefs as you? Chill out and grow up man. People act as if religion causes all the problems in the world, it doesn't dude conflict is just a part of human nature, shaped by differences amongst us.

So if people are going about their lives positively why should their beliefs matter? Your an Atheist? Cool, than how about you go out in the world and make some discoveries, somehow impact the world instead of complaining about another person's beliefs.
