I mean Jeff Teague was 6'0.25 and Lillard is shorter than him. I mean I knew he always looked little on the court but damn shyt even if he 5'11 and change. He still knocks down 3s and he super athletic! Like he shot 43% from 3 in college and shot 39% 2 years ago from 3. That stuff isn't easy at all.

Like others ave said...it's not just about height. Weight is another issue...some dudes are tall af but CANNOT keep weight on them even when they're on these 5000+ calorie/day diets. Lateral quickness is another big factor, footspeed/coordination...must tall ppl aren't coordinated enough to play high level ball. Another huge factor is injuries...you can be born NBA ready like Greg Oden and just fall apart and that's just out of your hands.

So, if you're 5'11, you've worked on your ball skills, handle, leaping ability, lateral quickness etc. ALL to an NBA level but you can't stay healthy enough to make it through a 40 game college season then....

As someone who watched every college game he played for 2 years, let me tell you- the ONLY reason he didn't get drafted was his attitude and EFFORT. Every physical attribute imaginable- lottery level measurables, but ZERO heart.
