outside of game 6 vs the cavs, he played well in the playoffs. his regular season was too up and down. I hope whomever is playing the SF for the bulls can consistently knock down open shots and/or mirotic is in the starting lineup.
He had two horrible games against Milwaukee too and some other horrendous shooting nights against the Cavs
He was alright in the playoffs, definitely more aggressive which is encouraging
Not coincidentally, those 4 games mentioned along with game 6 against CLE were all Ls. So it's clear this team goes as far as Derrick can take us
He just overall needs to be a lot better and consistent this season if we're gonna be worth a shyt.
I don't blame dude considering all he's been through, but it seems like he lost a bit of his passion for the game. Maybe not a fair critique, but his nonchalantness throughout the season was concerning

I never expected him to come back as a 20ppg scorer. I actually would have been happy if he would have came back and done a better job setting up his teammates. but his assist numbers were god awful last year as well.
