How do you not understand locking in that much money to one position hurts the Jets flexibility? Why is this so difficult?
Flexibility to do what?

The biggest obstacle to their flexibility is finding really cheap productive late gems, gems everyone but us can seemingly find. Revis doesn't interfere with that. Until they wise up and do that, they're gonna have trouble keeping any good player.

Damon Harrison seems to be doing okay.

who are these last gems on rebuilding football teams making plays all over the place? Can you give Idzik more than a season before you declare he cant uncover good players late in the draft?

You're assuming Rex was running the war room this year and your assumption is wrong.

Milliner fell in the draft and the Jets were going BPA on their draft board. The team wasnt expecting him to be there and the Rams traded up for Tavon.

The defense wasnt the issue today and the defense has been really good all season. You're not winning football games with a human turnover at QB. Revis doesnt make todays game any different while Locker is playing. He couldnt even stick Fitzgerald in crunch time today.

The defense is RARELY the issue, so why did they burn 2 top 15 picks to fix that?

And as I've said many a time (and I got killed for saying this), I don't dislike Geno, but this wasn't the year to go QB, because (gasp) It's a rebuilding season. You just said, "You're not winning football games with a human turnover at QB." So the solution was to draft another one?

So because he wouldn't have changed today's outcome, he isn't worth 16 mill?

dude...stop, youre digging the hole even more if you're not going to admit the Jets were drafting BPA on their draft board.

Absolutely not. If you think otherwise, you're entitled to think that. But something's to be said the only organization willing to give him that type of coin is currently an 0-4 dumpster fire.

My question is why were they even looking at that position even for BPA? shyt, you tell me the CB's drafted that high and you tell me whether Milliner will be on any of their levels, let alone sniff Revis'.

I felt bad for him more than anything,

comparing him to revis makes no sense.

For a rebuilding team, does 0-4 look so bad thinking of the bigger picture?

comparing him to revis makes no sense.

It's inevitable and unavoidable.

Man I haven't been this excited in years about our team. Hopefully Locker injury isn't anything crazy because he's balling out and we got a tough 4 game stretch coming up.
