People are going to come in here and say fukk friends blah blah blah. But having GREAT friends is awesome. And you don’t need a bunch. 1, 2 or 3 solid friends are all you need. I have 3 best friends. They make my life so much better and I’m glad I have them

just realized that i don't have any friends to go out with. All of my friends are either wifed up or moving in that direction
I really tend to either go out solo but have something to do when I go out, but don't really hit the bars or clubs anymore although i want to.

It’s not that men find it “weird” to make new friends..It could be easy for guys to make friends if men didn’t think it was weird to make friends with other men
It’s trusting them..
Also men(after a certain age) are only friends out of necessity or politicking to move up..
Most men develop those close friendships through high school or college..
Those friends saw you at your worse, been through fights, helped you get back on your feet after your first breakup, etc..
So trying to translate that into adulthood when you meet a bunch of new nikkas is hard because there is no trust or shared memories..
We may think a nikka is cool but men are always cautious of intent..
It’s very rare we let our guards down unless said new friend is heavily vetted by the person that introduced us or some kind of past experience/job/hobby we may have in passing..

I definitely feel for you bro. At the same time, however, what do you mean by you have no friends? I have friends that I could go 6/12 months without talking to and then we see each other and it's like we were never apart. Friends are hard to make but be on the lookout. Don't over do it. Just try to find someone who's at the same general place in life as you. Ralph Waldo Emerson put it best when he said, "The only way to have a friend is to be one." Don't listen to the people on this website who downplay the benefit of friendships. A great friendship can enhance your life so much it's crazy.
