They don't want us gathering amongst ourselves and excluding others. If you start a group, everyone's getting an invitation.

it's our intention to bring it back. we have a new version but can't seem to properly import the old data. if people want to just start from scratch we can enable the new on at any time...
That can work. Just make a site wide announcement and anyone that was in an old group will likely remember anyways. Hopefully everything works out good.

What is this side bar thing that I'm getting a notification for? Maybe it's something for desktop people and not mobile.
yes, its mostly for desktop. on mobile it'll be at the bottom of the page
