No hate to Kendrick, but Pac Div should be just as big as him

Their time came and went. They got lost in the late 00s with all the other "got next" artists that are milk carton status now.

:dwillhuh: :wow: :sadbron:

These nikkas still making music?
They ever work with Kendrick?

This track was on their latest project "GMB". Came out at the end of 2012. The Kendrick verse on there was "Meh", in my opinion. The tracks "Savages" and "Black Acura" are my shyt though. :ahh: I actually had decent hopes for these guys. I got "Church League Champions" unexpectedly with a jacket I ordered from Karmaloop and thought the shyt was dope. I had a little rap group here in Detroit with my boys and we always hung with another rap group (CSF), who was hanging with Pac Div when they came here to perform at a small show here. We all ended up rolling out and grabbing some grub together. Really down-to-earth cats...wanted them to win and really expected them to, but I think that the group thing is a tough-sell nowadays for hip-hop if there's not really a focus on a solo artist or collective.

My theory is that it's probably more attractive & economical for a label to go after a collective like TDE or OFWGKTA where you can throw one show with JUST that collective of artists since they all have solo sets/followings to go along with the group following as opposed to paying 3 guys with one following.

Their time came and went. They got lost in the late 00s with all the other "got next" artists that are milk carton status now.

...still waiting on "Grown Kid Syndrome"... :to:

Nah, they're solid emcees and have great production but they lack star quality and depth of Kendrick. I still check for them tho

they are equivalent to Slum Village in so many aspects. Very dope, alot of charisma, dope beat selection. i just think they lack subject matter. they'll be around tho, they got enough talent.

From the moment they got off tour with Nas their GKS album was shelved. Sucks cause those are my dudes, that nikka Likewise one of the dopest spitters on the West hands down. :wow:

They should atleast be Dom Kennedy status. Pac Div, Dom Kennedy and TiRon were all in each others videos early on too. Sometimes shyt happens tho man. Like did produce Sing About Me on GKMC though and Mibbs dropped a dope EP on June 18th.

The West could have been ridiculously strong if everyone that was supposed to get on, did. Blu, Fashawn, Johaz, Pac Div, etc..
