That's what they do psychologically. Your Blackness is seen as a curse in their eyes, that can only be gradually stripped by how you act and how they view you.I work with a older Hispanic lady like that....she doesnt believe any of the Black people she gets along with at the job are actually Black....she's made them all some weird hybrid race in her mind.![]()

Thinking about it now i don't even know why i felt the need to say that. Not all black people are hood, just cause im well mannered doesnt mean im tryna to act like anything other than i am and thats black. So in hindsight i kind of played into the stereotype if all black people being ghetto or from the hood. I dont think theres anything wrong with that which is why im not scared to tell people where i was raised but now im kinda ashamed i said that
