His problems are beats, monotone voice, and lack of subject matter. Being a refined wordsmith he should dabble into story telling a bit more and expand further from generic battle rhyme formula.

Musically, Canibus is still on top of his game... for the most part.
He just does a lot of stupid shyt that doesn't pertain to his music that makes him look bad (i.e. the battle with Dizaster)

I think he's had a pretty quality run outside of the debut brick and Dizaster battle.

Canibus is not some refined wordsmith.
His technical skills have been outdated since his second album.
Of which he never offered any actual upgrade.
Plus, he is limited as he can only rap convincingly enough over LL cool.j style gladiator beats.
Of which are of the dated variety from 14 shots to the dome, production era.
Canibus has put in the least work of any so called drawing feature emcee of the late nineties.
Others look over this,...but I do not.
As I will not he fooled.
Or, the victim of bait and switch style pr.
From his wack marketing, or the word of mouth of outdated aficionados.
Who also do not require an emcee culturally to build skills.
Every great emcee has grown or upgraded skills over time.
Canibus never has as he is not a great emcee.
Like most people who are fooled by his original drawing run.
