Ross got a way better solo catalogue than 8Ball & Beans. The masses don't even check for new Beans like that tbh. Ross ear for beats is one of the best in the game.

Either ways Ross has been super relevant in an era where careers move at light speed with the Internet & he is considered to be a "lyrical" artist ( meaning he doesn't rely on auto tune, the beat or a dance/gimmick to make good music). A lot of the people mentioned are in an era where the user had less of a choice and had to go with what the labels/media pushed. Nowadays that's not the case as the user has more control than ever. The music biz as a whole is here today/gone tomorrow but we still continue to look forward to new Rozay because we know that he is classic/good music worthy.

I love Ross' music. So... ok! He's been around since the late 90s. I'm fully aware of his impact and how great he is/was for the culture. I know Ross is lyrical.. ok!

I don't deny that. Beans is a "bars" artist. Can't pick a beat for shyt but can rap his ass off. Ross can put together a hell of a song for you, it may not be the advanced lyrically all the time but it will be a soundtrack to your payday, bad day and pretty much any moment in life one goes thru.
Musically Ross is superior to most artists, even Nas.
