@M.DOT
@OHSNAP!
favorite BBTP member? for me it was Craig B and O'Dell
Y'all think Silkk was the playboy of NL? Son had all the hoes
Tuff question...I believe it was a matter of different periods for No Limit

1995/96 it was KLC with Bout It and his stuff on Ice Cream Man and The Shocker

1997 it's a tie between between KLC and Mo B for producing all those anthems on Tru 2 Da Game, Ghetto D, Unlady Like, Unpredictable etc

1998 it's clearly Craig B with tons of great/original work (on Silkk, C-Murder, Snoop, Mac, Magic, Kane&Abel albums...)

1999 it's O'Dell (who only started producing for NL in mid-97), his stuff on Da Crime Family is really underrated. KLC (Down 4 My N's and Fiend's album were his only saving grace in 99), Mo B and Craig B were overworked and hardly contributed anything hot until the fallout. XL and Kenoe jumped in and usually did their thang

And yeah Silkk apparently stuffed Mya and Trina, probably a few more industry chicks (Destiny's Child...). Dude had an insane female fanbase in 98/99

All of them. Everyone of them brought something different to the table. I do admit they used to recycle the shyt out of some beats though towards the end if thieir run. Mo B dikk said he hasn't spoke to P (his cousin) since 1999 :mjcry: after BBTP had that fall out

Idk if Silkk was a playboy per say but he did fukk with Mya and Trina for a minute. A lot of bytches did like him though. P said in an interview that women that didn't know them thought they played in the NBA cause they were tall :russ:
Yeah Mia X said the Miller boys were basically swimming in p*ssy in 97 and had to keep the hoes away with a stick

@OHSNAP! why did Tre-8 leave?
Any Snoop stories when he was on the tank?
Snoop was really tight with C, Fiend, Magic and Mystikal. Hence the planned Tank Doggs album (only with Mac instead of Magic)

Snoop had/has only good things to say about P and NL to this day. He learned alot from business savvy MP, he had alot of creative freedom for his 2nd and 3rd NL album

5th Ward Weebie was told to sound more like young Wayne while Slay Sean was told to have a Turk-like flow. P also thought Choppa would be the next Juvenile (bounce rapper to make gangsta music). See song below:

-P and C recruited a WHITE Mystikal sound-alike named T-Bo. He was also featured on the end of the Bling Bling wanna be recreation "Tight Whips"

Unfortunately this is correct

P wanted to have his own...
Lil Bow Wow (Lil Romeo)

Mystikal (T-Bo)

Eminem (also T-Bo)

Juvenile (Choppa)

R&B stars like Bad Boy's Faith Evans, Total & 112 (6piece, Sera Lynn, Erica Foxx, Porsha)

Plus duplicatin' the CMR formula to make hits (Oohwee, Ice On My Wrist, Wobble Wobble, Rock It, Whodi, Tight Whips...)

He still bitin' everything popular and every hot trend to this day

-The sine west coast synth in the classic song "I'm Bout It" was due to KLC's baby daughter dropping a toy on the beat machine. He liked the sound and that was that.
nah it wasn't the synth sound it was the drum pattern she changed.
I got that interview in a mag somewhere... I think it was Scratch magazine

His daughter actually hit his beat machine changing the drum pattern and he whooped her ass for it lol realized it sounded perfect with the extra kick she added so he kept it

Never heard this before probably never will again This is extremely unbelievable Snoop legit felt protected with them country bammas and Death row didn’t want it with them....Even on one of Mr. Serv-on tracks at the end he was discussing how No Limit stopped a fight between Deathrow and Luke Records.

Members of Death Row ran up on Snoop at a concert in LA and beat him down while members of No Limit just watched. This is way you didn't see Snoop around No Limit that often after his first album on the label dropped.

Don't know what King George did to P but I know they are cool now.

For years King George was selling his mixtapes and DVD's at Rasputin Record Stores throughout the Bay Area. Would damn near harass you to buy his shyt. Last I heard he went back to NO

He was affiliated to many ruthless dudes tho, from the start

Yea but like I said, he wasn’t some boogey man nikkas try to claim he was later.

All those New Orleans killers he supposedly runs with wasn’t applying no pressure on niggss in the Bay Area rap game or the Bay Area streets

P was a respectful, humble nikka out here.

He got the game from us, revolutionized it to an extent, and went back home. There was no power vacuum left in the streets OR the rap game when he left

Solid businesses man. Nothing more nothing less (at the time).

True, he didn't need to, cause with money and fame (when he left the Bay), the problems began, and jealousy ran wild (P-Troy, Pimp C, Yukmouth, Scarface etc)
