Don't know if I can believe it (We Deadly and Bloody were very 1999-topical),but Mac said in an interview in 1999 that he made WW3 BEFORE Shell Shocked...

I definitley believe it. He has verses from WWIII on some of his features from '97-'99. A whole song from WWIII appears on "I'm Bout It" with a different beat "Lockdown". His verse from "What Cha Mean" also appears on "Bloody", but with some changes.

Also "Assassin Nation" he re used a verse from a song off a Fiend Album

Man P had a decent little roster. It's too bad

To me C-Murder's bossalini was a terrible project, I only liked one song off that album.

And 1 album I was anticipating and looking forward too was Magic's " sky's the limit". He was killing his guest slots at the time, and I remember being totally let down by that album.

* edit*

Just to not be hating I am revisiting the " Sky's da limit" album and Them opening with " Ghetto Godzilla" is :mindblown:. It's an underwhelming song

One of his verses on WWIII "Cops and Robbers" appears on BG's nikkas in Trouble.

Yeah there were underwhelming songs like Ghetto Godzilla or Chastity, didn't like What I Gotta neither

Had some bangers too, like the ones you mentioned (you forgot New Generation with Fiens&Mac!), C was featured on half of them songs lmao, and they were all hot

Holloway straight raped this song:whoo:

Bossalinie was truly disappointing. How C followed a gangsta rap classic like LOD with that one I'll never understand

The cut with Goodie Mob was way underwhelming, pop bullshyt like Freedom, Don't Wanna Be Alone (I appreciate him trying to send a message with both songs tho) or Still Makin' Moves weren't his lane neither. Livin' Legend and Ghetto Boy were total paint-by-the-number borefests

I liked the songs with Snoop (Ghetto Millionaire might be the 2nd best song after Ride On Dem Bustas) and Money Talks, the song with Daz and Like A Jungle were alright

Magic and Kane and Ables 2nd album were 2 of my favorite No Limit releases that cats are sleeping on.

Holy shyt, C-Murder and Mac (prolly other NL soldiers too) all in this video by this horrible Cash Money biter (0:20, 3:24, 3:46)

Damn, No Limit must have HATED CMR's popularity at that point

According to Rufus Mack, p blocked CMB deal with priority...
He said p called the office while baby/slim were talking numbers...

P knew cash money was on the bubble...

WW3

I think P just let Mac do his thing on this album, it sounded nothing like Shell Shocked.

This was a well put together album
do people not like shell shocked? that's a top 3 NL release, but I haven't listened to WW3 yet
