Opinions of Tre-8?

He was like memphis meets N.O.

Only original CD missing from my NL collection (95-00):sadcam:

Really enjoyed Ghetto Stories, hard ass album, Westside is my favorite cut. Yeah his shyt did sound like Memphis/NO/Houston combined

I member reading P blackballed his ass too back in the mid-/late 90s

Wonder why he wasn't listed as featured on Ghetto Twiinz' Small Time on Scarface's My Homies album?:usure:

Ghetto Twiinz debut album on Big Boy Records was bangin', never heard their Rap-A-Lot albums tho. Loved their cut on Scarface's My Homies album, and their Bout It OST contribution

Skys The Limit was always overlooked, I mean Big Ed dropped his album on the same day iirc, plus all those other high-profile NL releases around it (Snoop, Mia, Major Players Comp.)...I always thought it had a lil bit different sound, C came hard on all his features, did have some unnecessary filler as usual (Ghetto Godzilla, I Never, Mobb 4ever, Chastity), but some real highlights as well (the one with Soulja Slim, the songs with Snoop, the Mystikal cut, the songs with Fiend)

He gets no pass for being a garbage rapper in the rap game. Outside of 3-4 songs nikkas don't even bump P. Every big artist from his era has songs nikkas still bump every now and then except P

nikkas don't really understand what he REALLY did, so they can't respect what they don't know. That barcode/soundscan lick was genius but 99.9% of the people don't even know about it

nikkas nowdays respect him for his ALLEGED gangster/street dealings, which i explained, are overblown at best and outright lies at worst

Master P had more than 4 songs
No limit cds were literally everywhere. Real copies.
