Was he supposed to be rookie of the year last year, first two games he supposed to have 8-10 tds almost a thousand yards

not being the worst graded starting QB in the league would be a fantastic starting point

we need to stop being OK with this shyt. I have high hopes for Justin and he should be held to some standards. Its not controversial to say he needs to be better. I listened to several analysts that broke down his tape say the same things Im saying. Hes holding the ball too long, he lacks awareness, hes missing reads & is slow to make decisions. He has all the athleticism & arm talent you could ask for, but it wont mean much if he cant improve in those areas. I really hope he can string together two strong starts against mediocre teams (Texans/Giants)

Yeah kayshon boutte from LSU jaxon from Ohio state and Jordan Addison from usc will be top 12 picks but if fields isn’t the guy unfortunately we can’t get none of the guys I like because a qb will be the first round pick

ryan poles isn’t trading away any assets I think poles wants to see how fields plays this season if he doesn’t progress then the bears will either have Bryce young or cj stroud as their QB next season poles isn’t tied to fields so he can cut fields lose if he doesn’t think he is the future I personally think it’s to early to tell if fields is the guy or not I will wait till around week 15 to judge

He’s setting him up to fail then. Too many holes to have a real eval imo. Fields isn’t perfect by any means but everyone is gonna struggle to an extent with those weapons and line

Breh you keep repeating the same thing i said this thread But it’s facts i always ask people to show me a young qb in the history of the nfl with no oline no weapons and still balled out Dak had one of the best oline in the nfl and a young Zeke,Russell Wilson had beast mode and a decent oline,pat mahomes had a Year To learn under Alex Smith and had Andy Reid as his head coach and Justin Herbert had prep
Hamilton who Andrew luck praised and he had Keenan Allen and mike Williams as WR fields really don’t got shyt and the next young QB will be in the same spot i’m not saying fields doesn’t have things to improve on or he looked like a franchise qb but once again it’s hard to judge without no weapons or no oline and it’s Only the second game of the season so There was no need to panic once again let’s be patient and let the season play out

I said the same thing earlier in the thread and just in my last post it’s going to be hard to truly evaluate fields since the Oline is young and the wr group is poor

Lamar's passing is better now then his first year, maybe some more offensive movement will help Fields more.

Hard to evaluate after the first 2 games especially with that first game weather. Would like to see improvement week to week though. Looking forward to seeing how they rebound this week against the Texans

yep its early and we've faced two good defenses, and the talent around him restricts his progress. I still need to see some improvements with the basics.

Im still very optimistic for Justin, I just dont want it to feel like his rookie season again. Next week is a good opportunity for a W

Fields can be better ofc but his receiving corp is like...historically bad I could count on one hand the amount of qbs playign now who wouldn't look like shyt with mooney and kmet as their prime options.
