I could have sworn there was an official bears thread. that said, neither nagy or pace are getting fired.
and pace should have been fired for picking mitch over mahomes or watson and trading multiple draft picks in order to get mitch. that kinda mistake typically cost you your job in the NFL. but he's still out in these streets fukking up the roster to this day.

I think Pace is actually trying to get Nagy out of there.
If Nagy had his way, he would be starting Fields. But Pace is like "nah, play that 10 mil qb that you begged me to get in March first"

I am pretty sure Nagy can't see past ten yards, and that's why none of his plays are designed to go past that. Even Asking Madden would suggest the deep ball.
Montgomery should have been eating more than he did. He played soo much better than expected and truthfully would have ran further than ten years given the play attempts. But the coaching had him not getting carries and sitting more times than he should have been. Williams is in the game?? I WONDER WHAT THE PLAY WILL BE. It's like pee-wee football level. This cannot keep on. He's become too scripted thus far and doesn't serve Monty when he gets hot, probably because he thinks the QB should do all the carrying 100% of the time.
Either see the errors in being stubborn and adjust or give up the plays to Lazor. This is inexcusable. If the play calling was any less gimmicky, they would have padded over the lapses of the defense with some varied air attack and feeding the strong run. All we get are steep slant routes, screens, curls, and player appearances that rat out what the next play will be.
