It was aight...

I just felt like I've seen/read most of the stuff said in the movie already... it wasn't a lot of ground that hasn't been covered already. It was a dope thing to put together tho'. I'd recommend it to someone younger who's starting to rap and really takes it seriously.

I believe thats the direction Ice wanted to take. The film was basically directed to younger heads

I will say this about the documentary, it ain't tell me much I didn't know and it was missing some essential pieces of hip hop
But a good watch nonetheless, its less about the history of the culture and more about the art, the techniques, the rhymes, and the different styles. Every clip is segway'd by a rapper spitting a 16 or some verse, and followed by their explanations of how they write raps.

NO most freestyles don't end up being songs, what the fukk are you talking about? and depending on when this film was made, Gorgeous was already out before he did this "freestyle" not the other way around.
