Yeah you definitely could,I wonder how Pusha feels about his brther not hearing his music, and not being able to say ":banderas:" to a Pusha line ever again:mjcry:...Being that Malic is the reason he started rapping and is the big brother,i would imagine he's the person he would want to impress the most....Making matters worse he lives is Malice shadow still to many Clipse fans.....I wasn't really a Clipse fan,I was a Malic fan though:wow:....Pusha learned how to rap and is great at it,but Malice was BORN to rap,he was a natural with this shyt in every aspect..

I cant be on board with this "Im happy for em" shyt:comeon:...Im happy for him as a decent human being, but I really aint,so maybe i aint that decent:pachaha:...I feel his message of growth, but I aint there quite yet, maybe one day I will fully understand:ohlawd:

I'd still rather listen to Malice than Pusha, and still do from time to time, just hoping to catch a glimpse of him in his prime again:mjcry:

He could've reached more people as Malice than no Malice, but the fact he wants to be that person that stands flat footed and doesn't compromise is commedndable too I guess....either one would've been commendable, but sounds like the Malice persona was destroying im.

There is NO god...

Malice was raised a certain way, and he adapted a certain way, but when the Hip Hop lifestyle started challenging his way of thinking, he had to make a choice...

This shiet happens to MOST PEOPLE regardless of what they believe...

If what you are thinking/want/need doesn't match what you are doing/have...You are going to have a "spiritual struggle"...If you find a way to resolve the conflict in a way that is good for your health then you will be in "heaven"...If you can't find a healthy way to resolve the conflict, then you will be in "hell"...

It has nothing to do with god...Why should god care? Do you care that there are millions of your skin cells dying every day?

Another point,

Why do Christian Artists (the majority) believe when they rediscover their superstition their art has to be "clean and child friendly"?

I read the Bible (greatest collection of fictional books ever), and it is full of glory, defeat, despair, love, hate, life and death...It has the basis of most stories being lived and told to this day...

So, there is NO LOGIC in stopping to rap about "moving weight and gunplay" because you have discovered Jesus...What does Jesus promise the people who don't believe? death and violence and pain...

Malice could have remained a part of Clipse and continued to write verses like "I am not you"...One of the GREATEST verses in Hip Hop history, and it was PERFECTLY righteous and conscious...

I can't stand this bullshiet of artists robbing us of their talent because they "discovered religion"...

Did you ever sell dope? If you have any strength of character and any kind of morals, you eventually sicken yourself by the shyt you're pumping to people just for money.

You can justify it all you want: 'it's their choice' or the classic 'somebody else gonna sell it if I'm not' but that's just you being a coward and not being able face the consequences of your actions.

No Malice wants to be a force for good and a righteous man. A truly righteous man cannot respect himself and rap about/glorify moving weight and shyt knowing that his voice has power and shapes the thought process of a lot of misguided youth.

Besides, hes still making music. He just said that he cannot live the rapper lifestyle because there is too much temptation and he doesn't feel good around that. I can respect that.

There's a difference between spirituality and organized religion. Most educated religious people do not believe there's an old bearded white man in the sky that looks like a human and judges us from above. Stop listening to these arrogant atheists for your views on religion.

Black churches have always been a factor in keeping the black community strong and making organization easy and effective. Without these churches, the civil rights movement could not have happened.

It is terrible that religion has historically been used by conquerors to subjugate their victims and force them to be assimilated in their culture, but that doesn't mean in 2016 that Christianity cannot be a force for good for a black man.

You can be mad at the past all you want, but that won't do shyt but keep you down today.

:camby:

We don't need no damn christianity. We need a Black Empowerment code of conduct :martin:
Black folks signing up for christianity is the ULTIMATE form of c00ning :scust:
The damage that christianity has done, and continues to do, to the black man is beyond devastating :mjcry:

@Raymond Burrr

so you just gonna ignore that previous paragraph about how the church made the civil rights movement possible?

The first religion was created by the first civillization on earth, the sumerians. They created the story of the great flood and all that(epic of gilgamesh). Then you have the egyptians who worshipped the sun god and all that, the myth of horus, etc.

I'm not an expert, but christianity was influenced by these religions.

Just because the movement got co-opted by the white man and all that doesn't mean black people cannot make it their own in 2016 or that you can just discount people's opinion because they are christian.
