I totally agree with the op piece, if Africa started demanding gold instead of green pieces of pamper stamped with the faces of dead white men, Africans would be millionaires overnight and the West would be dirt poor. The gold standard will never return without a major world war or the collapse of the US, the lack of a worldwide gold standard is the very thing that keeps the US in power
