Most people know Dock Ellis as the pitcher who threw a No Hitter on LSD, but there was a lot more to the man than just that.
He was an outspoken guy...often called the Muhammad Ali of baseball.
And in his post-career, he counseled lots of people off drugs and out of crime.
The scene where he was reading a letter from Jackie Robinson was pretty emotional...
