Funny how a bunch of pussies sitting on computers know what D.Rose is going through in his rehab process.

ATL…overly
No I don't. Who am I to tell a nikka worth millions when & where he should play. If he ain't ready, he ain't ready. The point remains that the people closest to Rose ( his brother, the Bulls FO, ADIDAS) have done him no favors & his public image has taken a hit

Theres nothing to hate on that kid about. If u are hating on him, ur life probably sucks. I'll pray for you.

I don't hate on him as a person, but as a player, I think he's a lil overrated.I don't see him as this phenomenal, once in a generation type talent.

Don't get me wrong, he's very good.Naturally talented like a muthafukka, but so was Stephon Marbury, and Baron Davis.

And I only based that on his career up to this point. It's nothing against Rose, I just think the NBA is the worst league in sports when it comes to marketing players....they hype the fukk out of them.

Maybe Rose will develop into that type of player in a few years? Again, I'm just basing my opinion off what I've seen up to this point in his career.

I don't have a problem with Rose. It's the NBA's desperate attempts to embellish their own product that I have a disgust for.I've been feeling that way since the mid 90's when they was on that "The next Jordan" bullshyt and hyping up a bunch of heartless players who didn't have it between the ears

This is simply your inability to appreciate a player. The point you made can be made about any player in the NBA. Dude is great and they are obviously better with him on the floor.

On to the topic: I am a huge supporter of Rose sitting out the rest of the season. Especially if he is unsure of his abilities on that knee. I always say this on this board mainly becuz of my background with medical: the most important aspect in medical is to understand that even though all procedure may be the same, every case, every patient is different. You can't compare AD to Rose and you can't compare Nerlens Noel to Shumpert. Trust me when I say that the probability of each of those patients having different tears and rips is extremely high. All we know is that they all generally tore the same ligament.

Iman Shumpert tore his ACL last year around the same time as Rose and he came back in January

I appreciate his game, I just don't think it's "MVP" level. His team is better with him because he's a really good player with the potential to be great. The NBA likes to pick ripe fruit. When I watch Rose, I'm amazed by his leaping ability and quickness.Athletically, he might do something you've never seen before.

That being said, he's still raw to me.Your game has to be completely aligned to reach MVP status. It goes beyond the physical, really.Rose is still budding.Mentally, emotionally, and even, in some aspects, physically/skill wise, he's not there yet.Bron had to get over that hump. The last 2 years, Bron has been at that MVP level. It wasn't anything physical.Bron had to come into his own mentally. We're seeing his game in full alignment right now.

Rose isn't at that level. He's still a baby in terms of basketball refinement.Especially in regards to the mental part of the game.

Not saying he can't get there, but the NBA is trying to force him to be at a level he hasn't reached yet. That boy is still a yellow belt. He's not a grandmaster YET.

Like I said all we really know is that they all tore the same ligament. You don't know the extent of the tear or was in combination with an mcl tear or sprain.

I wouldn't be saying any of this if I didn't have an idea of what I was talking about.
