The 90’s was truly special.

But I can’t be mad at kids moving on

It’s a bitter pill to chew on but the 90’s started 30 years ago

Imagine how WE woulda felt listening to people tell us how much better the late 60’s Woodstock era was than our shyt was. 90’s aged MUCH better than the 60’s did but still point remains

Most of us that grew up in the 2000s are still alive so luckily, there will be no revisionism going on because I got the feeling the 90 babies are gonna try to make the 2000s their version of how us 80 babies like to talk about the 90s. Theres already folks trying to say the second bush wasnt a bad president or the 2000s was an extension of the 90s. Lies, both lies. 2000 as a year was trash. It was like as soon as we entered 2000, the vibe was totally different. It was like that energy of the 90s was gone. Then it went all the way south and it's been getting worse. 2000 was a very disappointing year and then 2001 was the great depression... one of the worst years of my life.. shyt wasnt the same after that. It changed me. All the events seemed to coincide with the shyt that was happening in my life and SOHH saw it. We survived though

That because these 20 years don’t remember the 90s so of course they don’t care. I’m in my 30s so I still care about that time. It’s a cycle every ten years.
I do.. I was in Toronto in the 90s

living in driftwood before I moved to Montreal 2001

I listened and remembered usher , Fabolous vividly but I was OUTSIDE enjoying life and everything it had to offer In the 90s

POGS era (With slammer era etc)
POKÉMON cards Era
N64 (donkey Kong , Mario kart & super Mario master hand we beat em )
Marble era (we use to somehow collect and play with marbles )

1992 last of the REAL ! I was born on the twelve day and month .

Im glad, it was too many phonies pretending to be from that era when they were in diapers in 98 :beli:

The memory of the era will live on, its the last era of human existence before the internet took over and changed the way we coexist with each other.

84 baby here. I'd say every decade had a feel to it, and up to about 2007-2008, there was some key distinction to every decade. Late 90's were my formative years, so I always salute the 90's.

To me, society doesn't really feel like it evolved From those years. Social media and reality TV took off wholesale, smartphones came into play, the recession hit...it just feels like for last 10-12 years different shades of the same shyt.

You know
Yeah 81 was a GOAT year. We aren't millienuals we are more tail end generation X. We were the last of the 90s high schoolers. Our coming of age story consisted of 2 crazy but dope as fukk decades. :takedat:
You are a literal millennial. Your generation was the first to hit the work force with in y2k
