It really is you must dig hard to find any worth a damn lol.
That's one thing I can't complain about. There's still a lot of quality music being made...most if not all of it is independent.

More access to up and coming producers, bands, rappers, djs, singers, musicians...all of that.

Mainstream has always been trash. in the 90s it wasn't up until 1998-1999...then it really started to get bad with all those pop singers and boy bands competing with rap metal pop punk and pop rappers like Jay Z and Nelly.

It’s funny because I remember when Vh1 made “I love the 90s” in 2004 and I remember saying “already? :dahell: It’s too soon!” Lol

I loved those programs along with best week ever and patrice o'neals show where he broke down the stupidest clips from the net that week.

:to: those were the days

REmember when we didn't have a whole generation of talentless social media clout chasers...and you had to have actual talent to get noticed back in the day? That's what I miss.

The bar is so low now that you could trip and fall over it if you're not careful.

Sorry. Not sorry. But video game streamers, people who just say dumb shyt on twitter, IG thots, bloggers, and makeup-artists should never be mentioned in the same vein as artists, musicians, atheletes, actors, comedians, REAL writers/journalists, and professional models.

That stuff is the LOWEST form of content. That's my number one gripe about this era.

I agree somewhat, but with the easy ass ways to make money nowadays, it aligns more with the idea of what America always claimed to be, opportunity, freedom

We can be stars without going through hollywood now. That's probably the only good thing about this era.

The people in media know this new age shyt is garbage. Thats why the 90s wont die. :yeshrug:

Even the last dance was centered around a 90s team..

Aside from the 2000s lakers, no other modern team will have that nostalgia..

The 90s was just the g.o.a.t.. :manny:

THis is it right here. All it takes is listening to 90s music, watching 90s movies, to know it was a good time. People are also getting hip to know how bad social media is

70s, 80s, and 90s will never die, you can't kill them Prime Time years.

Here's 2 young brehs listening to Phil Collins. There's young folks that's going back and hopefully more do so

Well, yeah. Thesec things come in 20 year cycles:

  • In the 2000s, 80s culture was all the rage
  • In the 2010s, 90s culture was all the rage
  • In the 2020s, 2000s culture is probably gonna be all the rage
So on and so forth...
So basically whoever is in their 20s dominates the culture

Early 2000s was an extension of the 90s. Most folks will agree, even those in the future that the 70s-90s was the GOAT years. Anybody who says otherwise hasn't gone back to those decades. 2010 might be the GOAT decade for you, until you go back in time

Not "no one" but as far as nostalgia goes, I feel like the 90s revival has come and gone.

It's all about the 2000s/y2k now.

I imagine yall (including me too) stuck in the 90s heads must sound redundant to these people born in the 90s. And they're turning 30 in this decade. They have more realistic memories and experiences with the 2000s. They weren't really old enough to experience the 90s like that.

Look at how these kids be shytting on 90s legends in the booth. :mjlol:

They don't know who Nas or DMX is. :mjlol:

We old. It's a new time.

I’m soon to be 28 and NaS is arguably my GOAT (neck and neck with Biggie) MC and I even listen to DMX in the gym lol, I know it’s a lot but not all of us 90’s born fit under the same umbrella breh. A good number of us are just cut from a different cloth :russ:

I love the 90’s and cherish the memories I still have of them but I’m definitely proud to rep the 2Ks too even with some of the legendary fukkery of that decade. That’s the decade my childhood concluded and my teenhood was born and also when I began to come of age (17).
