No one cares about the 90s anymore.

I’m in my 20s and I like the 90s but then again, I love history and cultural evolution. I find the distinctive trends in fashion, music, television, film, etc. from decade to decade utterly fascinating. I can’t wax poetically about the 90s like I lived it because I was literally a toddler for all of it. From an objective point of view, the 80s and 70s are more compelling decades.

I don't expect someone in their 20s and younger to care about the 90s. Either they weren't alive yet or was a baby when the 90s was poppin'.

Me, I am a throwback. I miss the 80s and 90s, but I also care about the 2000s and beyond.

The same shyt these youngsters say about the Golden Era would be said about their era by their kids and people their kids age.

Speaking of throwback, I may cop a Polaroid camera and take flicks for nostalgia's sake.

Those been a big hit over the last 5 years, those retro Polaroid cameras that go for like $130+ at Target, Best Buy, etc. I’ve been wanting to get one and make a new photo album for my friends and family and also one for traveling. Physical photo albums just hit different compared to IG, Facebook, etc. :wow::mjcry:

Culture has been stagnant for a while now

You can go to their website and get it for $99. They gotta starter kit for $144 which includes color and b/w film.

People say that people need to stat in their lane. OK, sure..I will stay in my lane and cherish my era..

Most music today is horrible so I really don’t care about the taste of people who put artists like 6ix9ine and BTS at the top of the charts. Clearly they have horrible taste.

I’ll stick to the 90’s and before for my quality music.

Not only that, but the goofy, young weirdos of today encourage those culture vultures to steal our music and sounds - not even a little bit of homage or respect necessary. Back in the day, when non-blacks were doing black music, they at least needed to prove why we should respect them.

Not a '90s song, but Phil Collins video on the previous page reminds me that Phil Collins is a good example. Collins produced Philip Bailey's (amazing) second album "Chinese Wall" and participated in the music video for the single "Easy Lover," as he said he knew no TV station would play it if there wasn't a white guy up front.

EDIT: And yes, the video is weird, 'cause......... it's an '80s video.

The '90s was the last decade of genuine diversity too. Not only did we have our own TV shows, movies and cartoons, but there was a fair amount of "inclusion" in non-black shows as well.

In the mid '00s, something happened to where the only shows kids watched were "Hannah Montana," the "Suite Life of Zac and Cody" (or whatever it's called) and that show Ariana Grande was in, so no wonder so many of the Retarded Generation (born after '96) think diversity didn't exist until Twitter mobs needed to force it down our throats. I think that's my biggest thing with the mid-'00s and on through today - very little anymore comes about in an authentic manner (aside from being authentically retarded.)

It’s funny because I remember when Vh1 made “I love the 90s” in 2004 and I remember saying “already? :dahell: It’s too soon!” Lol
I remember that as well. Everybody was questioning it. Still had 90s culture although minimal at that time. It could and probably should be made now though. I remember back in the 90s, they had those time life infomercials at night playing 70s and 80s songs. I wonder if they are still around and have they done that for 90s songs. But yeah, nobody cared about the 80s like that in the 10s and the closer we get to the 30s, the more people will not care about the 00s.
