Why is his passer rating, QBR, yards, completions % etc not higher than his peers then. Lamar leads him in damn near every statistical category. And he’s yet to win anything.

As usual ESPN clowns gonna run such a wild campaign that people start hating on him instead
I hate how all of a sudden, a quarterback's individual stats are an afterthought. Not just with Josh Allen, but any team that has a good record.

Even just regular fans have started falling for the bullshít.

He's the best QB in the NFL tbh. :manny:

Dude is a ridiculous talent and has ascended to god-tier ever since he stopped turning the ball over.

I have him over Lamar because he actually raises his game in the Playoffs.

Right cause it’s Lamar’s fault Mark Andrews dropped that ball

Even outside of that his playoff stats are much better than Lamar’s to that posters point.

The irony in that is that he's been doing what people used to claim that Lamar did in putting up number and winning more with less talent around him.

There was an inexplicable interception in the 1st half and another bad fumble that gave the Bills great field position in that game. And the AFC Championship game against the Chiefs where he psyched himself out of a Superbowl appearance can't be erased from my memory.

Lamar SHOULD be the best player but he continues to have these crazy moments in the Playoffs so Josh is 1a for me until proven otherwise.

Allen is arguably the best quarterback at the moment. The fact that its even "arguable" means there is no case for him playing the position the best its ever been played.

We had a multi-year run where it was INARGUABLE that Mahomes was the best quarterback alive.

Also had multi-year runs for Rodgers, Manning, Favre, etc on back to at least Unitas.

Brady never had a multi-year streak where he was inarguably the best QB alive, but what he had was arguably better than that---->the most consistent playoff riser in NFL history. Guess what, Josh isn't that either.

I like Josh, not more than Lamar or a few other guys, but i like him. He's creating a near ironclad first ballot Canton case, and he is very arguably the best QB playing currently. But that's where it ends, let's see where everything ends up!

Allen "plays the position better than anyone has ever played it" but has never led The League in any passing metric of relevance.

•Mahomes has led The League twice in pass TDs ('18 and '22), and once in pass yards (2022);

•Burrow has led The League once apiece in completion percentage (2021), passing TDs (2024), and passing yards (2024);

•Tua has led The League once apiece in passer rating (2022), passing yards (2023), and completion percentage (2024);

•Lamar has led The League once in pass TDs (2019), and once in passer rating (2024);

•Dak has led the NFL in passing TDs (2023);

•Purdy has led the NFL in passer rating (2023);

Obviously Allen is better than some of the guys I just named but the bar Greeny threw out there was "best the position has been played"....don't even begin that convo if, in addition to my previous post, you never have led the NFL in any QB metric. Never #1 in anything. What are we talking about?
