I'll admit I've had a Apple Watch over a year or so and it doesn't really do anything exciting

Most of the apps are BEYOND cheap and shouldn't even be called apps , ever since I updated my watch it became very slow and kinda glitchy

This is why I hate Apple products , as soon as a new model comes out the old model becomes glitchy and slow

My Moto 360v2 is great for notifications while I'm at work. My phone and watch are both on the same mifi network so i leave my phone on my desk and get all my notifications on my watch and i respond to text via voice.

I think a lot of people have the wrong expectation of smart watches, it was never intended to be a replacement for your phone - always an extension of it. Outside of apps, notifications are the major function of smartphones.

Cell phone companies played a roll in this....they make you pay for a extra line to use it when that's not how it was designed originally

I was trying to decide what to get the wife for x-mas. She has Samsung and she kinda mentioned something about a gear watch. So I started doing my research and saw that the Gear S3 was sold out. Went by the Sprint store and they wanted $389 out of the door for a watch!. I bought it but felt buyer's remorse immediately, no reason to have a fukkin watch that you still need to phone to set it up with.

I had it in my possession for like an hour before I realized how dumb of a purchase it was, especially for that damn price.

Gear s3 has a sim card in it and allows you to use it without having the phone at all… It can't take you make calls and send and receive texts...shyt it even has it's own phone number that people can call directly, use mine (I have the s2) as like my batline, only selectively send it out...you can also numbersync it to where if people call your phone it rings on the watch whether you have the phone with u or not
