His kicks are missing, his off the top rope stomp looks awful and he looks lost out there.

Anyone think this will get better or is he Sin Cara part 2? :sadcam:

Maybe he's having quite a difficult time adjusting to the "WWE Style" of doing things? Just a thought. I honestly don't think these indie smark favorites are going to get too far, especially on the main roster.

Only time will tell I guess. :yeshrug:

steen and generico will. I will 100% stop watching if adrian neville is anywhere near a wwe title win.

There is said to be a little bit of concern within WWE developmental regarding Hideo Itami, the former KENTA, trying too hard to adapt to the WWE style of working.

The finish to one of Itami's recent NXT matches at the last set of television tapings had to be re-done because one of his kicks didn't connect.

Regardless, WWE is said to be impressed with how hard Itami works and how quickly he is improving his English. The company reportedly views him as one of their top developmental talents.

Just read this too.

Just read this too.

And I just read THIS:

"Per a report from PWInsider, there is said to be very little concern in WWE developmental with Hideo Itami (formerly KENTA) and his adjustment to the WWE in-ring style. The rumors to the contrary stem from the finish being re-done for one of Itami’s matches for the recent set of NXT TV tapings.
The latest report says WWE officials are impressed with Itami’s work ethic and his improvements in speaking English. Itami is said to be viewed as one of the top wrestlers in WWE developmental."

Which one to believe? Neither.

I've noticed it. From his first match when he badly overshot the stomp on Gabriel.

Hopefully it's just him trying to adapt. Which I think is more likely than not.

Do y'all think think he is nervous? The reason I made this thread is a friend of mine went to NXT tapings at Full Sail and he said the "Jap guy sucked" lol.

Bring him, Devitt and Steen up before being in NXT ruins them too much

I feel like he'll adapt as he gets better with the language. Seems that was Sin Cara's biggest issue.
It's not like wwe worries too much about great wrestling if they pushing reigns . Plus he showing the willingness to learn unlike cocky ass sin cara

Kenta has been great on the indys/japan etc, but I could see it being very tough for him to adapt to the style....give him more time as its only been just over a month. Hell, not every top prospect in anything has been a success right off the bat :manny:
