The reason I said that is because Chris Rock is several years older than Will.
Chris did stand up in the early 80s and was on SNL during one of it's most iconic periods.

You can FEEL Chris Rock is an icon. Will is too but there's some element about Chris Rock that screams classic actor/comic character.

Will slapping Chris out of all people is not a good look.

I hope more love and respect comes out of all of this.
