Word!He was never as good as Lincecum
For us that are a little older, Steve Avery was supposed to be better than Glavine and Smoltz in Atlanta.

I think I had a Steve Avery mit too

Tim Lincecum went from 2.74 ERA at age 27 to 5.18 the very next year at age 28.

People who don't actually watch the spot shouldn't talk about it.
You're right OP, I'm fukking shocked that a pitcher whose main asset was his 100+ mph fastball is unable to throw as fast when he's 32. Wait, no I'm not.
That's like if you criticized a 32 year old running back for not being as fast as he was when he was in his mid-twenties. It's not "falling off" it's just the way those sports work. People don't just play 20+ years at peak condition. Not everyone's Nolan Ryan. Or Cal Ripken. Or Kareem.
"Man, that Olympic Sprinter really fell off" No. They're just built specifically to peak at around 28. They only really get one or two good Olympics out of them before their body's start to deteriorate.
"Giants fans it must be really hard watching..." Actually, as someone from the Bay, it was fukking amazing watching a team that hasn't won shyt in my, or my father's, lifetime go on to become one of the greatest dynasty's of the early 21st century and win 3 championships in 5 years.

If I remember correctly, Carl Crawford also had TJ surgery.I can post a very, very, very long list of players who had shoulder and TJ surgeries who were not abused.
Hell, Miguel Sano had TJ surgery.
What was his pitch count?

I think you're talking about Brian Wilson, the Giants closer. I don't even remember what happened to him. I think he just gradually declined.I wanna know what happened to the funny beard man? He was in taco bell commercials and every th inggl
He's done. Was the giants closer 3 years ago I think. Blew out his arm really early that season, like within the first 5 games. Had a third tommy john surgery (two in college I think). It was his contract year, he already had a lot of mileage so the giants were iffy to re-sign him if he was healthy anyways, the tommy john surgery just cemented it. Went to the dodgers the next season and was mediocre as a reliever.I think you're talking about Brian Wilson, the Giants closer. I don't even remember what happened to him. Jack Morris aint in.
This has been your regular reminder that pitching requires repeating an extremely unnatural motion which puts violent stress on the throwers arm.
Pitchers. Get. Hurt.
he wasnt that great to begin with. he had like two great years with the Giants and was clutch in the only offs he been to. caught a surgery in 2012 and then his arm was done. caught feelings too.I think you're talking about Brian Wilson, the Giants closer. I don't even remember what happened to him. I think he just gradually declined.
