It's impossible for a female to be independent in the concept of a Family. Any woman who says she is independent is letting you know she either doesn't want a family or is an idiot repeating something she heard another idiot say and should thus be avoided.

But on the serious tip. As a man, I can agree to a certain EXTENT with what he’s trying to say. Women who are one HUNDRED percent independent and have an ATTITUDE that no man is truly good “enough” are not attractive. No man wanna hear how he ain’t shyt and yadda yadda, especially if he is taking care of business too.
Relationships should be a two way street of respect and mutual building. The man should be able to “need” the woman for certain things and the woman should be able to “need” the man for certain things.
Thats in a perfect world. Which unfortunately we do not reside in.
I don’t give a fukk about no other race’s relationship issues so i keep my thoughts and opinions strictly towards us as a black community and I feel that there has been a centuries long WAR on both the black man and woman. Trying to keep us from truly uniting. When you see all this garbage poisoning of our psyche with “black men are the white men of the black community” and “black women are bedwenches who secretly crave white dikk” that shyt is SICK and twisted. It makes us seem like we should be blaming one another for our fukked up positions when we are BOTH in the same fukked up situation.
Black men are incarcerated and MURDERED at crazy rates. Which makes the need for black women to have that “independent” attitude and armor a necessity of survival. In a way i don’t think even blaming that segment if black women is fair as its just a very pointed and specific effect of the bullshyt we been dealing with since slavery
