I don't think I'll ever go back to a theater. Can't even remember the last I went to one but it was well before Covid crushed the buildings. I enjoy not being around a bunch of randoms who might end up ruining the experience.

There's nothing playing . When they started showing hit movies from the 70's, that should have told us something.

I use to be an A-list member, and I would sometimes see two movies a week. I don't think I ever saw three in one week. The downside to be an A-list member is, people my age can't continue getting away with all that popcorn and soda, two or three times a week. I messed myself up doing that, but I did get my numbers back to normal range. You don't want diabetes, believe me when I say that. And I loved that popcorn and soda routine. That was half the reason I was going to the movies. But the movie gotta be at least half way interesting.

Last flick I actually went out to see was FFH with one other person and it was damn near 80 bucks. Now add 5 more people to that tab.

How did you spend $80 at the movies with only two people?!?

2 tix was damn near 40, popcorn, drinks and being that I'm usually on a 18-6 fast, I had to get some actual food at the time we went. I looked at my recipts when we left that bytch like...no way am I about to drag 5 other people to a theater for some shyt I that's gonna stream or be able to be found online in good quality.

I enjoyed Sonic 2 on my couch just fine.

I still like the movie theaters, just wish their was more blockbusters/action movies other than superhero movies. I haven't seen most of them and I would feel overwhelmed trying to watch all the marvel movies up to endgame Seems like you gotta watch all of them to truly understand infinity war & endgame.

You brehs who got to watch those Marvel superhero movies in theaters are truly lucky.

A lot of us have and continue to invest into a home theater, and I got a legit popcorn machine for Christmas. 120" screen in 4k, and I can pause to take a piss? Sheeeeit!

- Seeing it on the big screen is always great, especially when it's a visually stunning flick.
- Being in the theater gives me a reason to block out at all distractions and focus on the movie. If I watch a movie at home, I get distracted, I'm checking my phone, I'm pausing the movie every twenty minutes to get up and do something else, etc. shyt half the time I say to myself "I'll throw on a movie" then never do lol.

yep its like you pay good money to watch a flick in theaters so you basically have to watch the whole thing.

At home, life can happen and you never finish.
