Barrett disappears too much.

Gronk slow as fukk now. Whats last difficult catch u saw Gronk make?
Because Shaq Barrett isn’t a great athlete. Against bigger more technically sound tackles he’s gonna get locked up more. He’s not physically dominant or overwhelming

That’s why the development of JTS is one of the most important things for the Bucs this year. Cuz he is a freakish athlete with elite physical tools

And Gronk still gets open, he still a red zone threat, he still blocks better than any dual threat tight end

I need Bowles to get creative. Wink Martindale would find a way to make Barrett a threat every down he's in there. Aleays thought Bowles was overrated.

We wasn’t calling Bowles overrated during the 2020 run

He needs to kill off his stubborn habits, chill with the blitzes, and they need more juice on the d-line

I’m optimistic for the defense in 2022

We signed a most of of bigger FA's to 3 year deals so far. So, maybe we have a soft commitment from Brady for at least the next 2 years, with plans to hand to keys over to Kyle 3 years from now, while still having those top guys on the roster. With that being said, we need to field the best team possible for the next 3 years. After that, who knows what this team will look like.

Started things off by trading future picks for the 5th overall pick this year. Both of the top 2 edge guys were gone. I thought about Stingley, but the other top 2 Corners were still there. I traded back from the 5th pick to the 10th pick while adding picks for this draft, and getting back to few picks in our future drafts.

#10-DE. George Karlaftis (A-) More of a power rusher than a speed rusher, but pressure is pressure. Top 3 Corners were gone.
#27-C. Tyler Linderbaum (A+) Best Center in the draft. Day 1 start at G and future starter at C when Jenson is gone.
#35-CB. Jalen Pitre (B-) Not my favorite pick, but I wanted a Corner early. Tyler was to good of a pick to pass at 27.
#60-LB. Brain Asamoah (B-) Future L.David replacement. Or if D.White doesnt live up to expectation.
#91-OG. Dylan Parham (A) BPA. Future start on the interior OL.
#111-RB. James Cook (B+) Would make a great 1-2 punch with Lenny. And he comes in with limited wear and tear.
#133-DL. Neil Farrell (A-) Much needed help along the DL. Especially with Suh's future being up in the air.
#248-TE. Lucas Krull (B-) More TE Depth with Gronk still unsigned.
#261-K. Jordan Stout (C+) Succop had a down year. And could save cap room if hes cut.

Overall Grade was a A-

Steal was the best center in the draft at 27. Ranked as the 19th best prospect.

Reach was Jalen. Was hoping he was a pure Corner, but his scouting report hurt my feelings...lol

Most excited about Brain at 60. He was ranked 39th overall.

I really like this draft. Though I doubt the Bucs would sacrifice future picks irl, a draft like this would be a potential goldmine

I agree bro...Where Mike Ditka when you need him.

I gave up a our nx 2 1st, a 3rd 1 yr and a 4th a different year. Then a couple 6th and 7th riders.

Keeping all of our tops picks this year and at least keeping the 2nd rders in the following years would be dope...

But like you said...irl only 1% of GMs ever would do such a thing.

Bucs wouldn’t do it because they’re tied at the hip to a 44 year old QB that can walk away from the game or fall off a cliff physically at any moment

But unless it’s a generational player or proven star given up capital is always a gamble. I won’t be shocked to see Bucs trade down from 27 and stock pile picks for the Day 2 this year
