Tekken 6 had a cheap ass boss that was worse than Jinpachi. Anything post Tekken 5.0 (outside of TTT2) stopped catching my interests in terms of fighting styles and character design.

They also sad that they gonna cut down on characters since they nearly had 60(!) characters in TTT2. Makes sense storywise because it is impossible to write down 60 good, or even decent, different storylines for all the characters to the point of exhaustion from the creators. That is why Tekken 6 was so sub-par for Tekken fans because of the stupid endings and the weak ass story mode and the campaign mode that was ehh at best.

Tekken 7 is gonna have fewer characters, a lot more fighting modes, and other bonuses as their (suppose) swan song of the series.

How would Tag 2 be a factor when the Tag games are pretty much dream matches though

Not that I care about the animal characters but, you do realize that the roster hasn't been fully revealed yet right? There will be time release characters in the arcade version after the game has been released

Haven't played Tekken in years.

Tekken pissed me off. First, I learned to play with the Kunimitsu... then they take her out of the game.
So... I started using the old bald doctor, cause he'd lay on the ground and nobodys combos would work on him Then, the took him out of the game.

DOA3 came out and it still had the characters from DOA2, and I'm like 'these mfers get it'



Haven't really kept up with Tekken since.
