Zazas ability to score at will and anchor the paint allows Draymond to float around, we all know who the real heart and soul of golden state is:troll:

Draymond is the alpha of the Warriors
He sets the tone in the locker room and on the court

Y'all tried saying that with Bogut.... Zaza is even worse as a rim protector or deterrent...How does that explain Green being able to play center and anchor a small lineup?
Zaza is one of the presence that allow green to focus and roam..Also Durant (Elite defender), Curry( good help defender) and Klay(Great defender) along with Zaza (Good defender)..Grren can put all his energy into rebounding and defending when he has 3 elites scorers on offense that tires out the opposition.

nikkas said they'd take Cj McCollum over him :laff::laff::laff:

It's a beautiful thing when he is surrounded by top shelf talent
4 of the starting 5 on that team are quality defenders

Not to mention that bigs in this league are soft and live outside nowadays.

Dray just another role player on an elite team.

Accept it :umad:

Spare us the nerd analysis, analytics :russell:

I really think people see what players do in comfy situations and become mystified. I appreciate what Dray did in game 7 but never forget he wasn't exactly tearing it up against OKC. I judge players like if I drop them anywhere on earth would they triple their worth? Kyrie is marvelous IN HIS ROLE but lord help me if I'm asking him to be the leader of a squad. Lebron, KD, Russ, Harden, IT, AD..If I drop those guys in a situation where they are responsible for the scoring responsibilities and whatever else being a leader would entail without another all star could they get me in the playoffs? Dray, Tony Parker, Manu, Kyrie etc...great at what they do/did but does that mean they're upper echelon...nope they're trust fund babies

Tony was the focal point of the Spurs offense those last 2, 3 final appearances, I don't put him in that category.

You're on point about everything else tho

Eh, I don't agree. Ben Wallace might not be a number one option on offense but his ability to anchor an elite defense can't be understated.

You can be the leader of a squad without being the best scorer. If you put a dude like Dray on the Heat, Celtics, Trailblazers, etc...they turn from playoff bound to finals bound.

Draymond isn't just a decent passer, he's a GREAT passer and elite playmaker. I'd probably say the only better passing forward is Lebron.

I don't think being the best scorer or number one offensive option on a team means you're the best player :yeshrug:

It's easy to elevate your game when you aren't actually a star. :youmadcam:

I understand y'all being happy about your success, but this is just ridiculous.

Ben Wallace was an excellent cog like Dikembe but these aren't the guys making the ground shake. Mr Big Shot was the driver of that ship. If you really think that when you peel back the layers Dray is some super prize more power to you.

He was the focal point because Duncan covered his inefficiencies...he was a trust fund baby and I stand by that. It blew my mind to hear him mentioned in the same breath as NOP Chris Paul...There's a reason when people talk about all time best point guards people rather focus on CP3 never making it to the conference finals instead of the rings Tony won
