He doesn't at all

It doesn't seem to mesh. At this point he is already very powerful in the force and being tempted by the Darkside. That power and temptation being essentially dormant through the OG trilogy doesn't work.

Man I can't help but wonder what if eps 1-6 were remade with cgi. Keeping everything the same but having the fights match up with shows. Just a thought

On one hand Filoni said that everyone was waiting on a major showdown (Ahsoka and Vader) and it had to happen.

On the other hand they just threw it out there in the midst of so much else.

I think she sacrifices herself somehow rather than Vader outright killing her
He will hold back fighting her while trying to get her to join him
