Russel and CP3 typically play about evenly. The difference is that Westbrook has the best scorer in the league when they meet, a dude who was also dropping 35-40 points in some of those games who was being held by the likes of Matt Barnes.

nikkas act Clippers vs OKC didn't come down to a few crazy calls and CP3/Westbrook weren't killing each other.

I don't really understand what point you are trying to make.

Because across their careers - In the regular season Chris Paul out-scores Russell Westbrook, shoots a higher percentage, and doles out more assists per game. Let's not act like Blake Griffin doesn't take plenty of shots from Chris Paul.

I have nothing invested in this matchup. It shouldn't be a surprise that Chris Paul out played Russell Westbrook, when he has historically done so. I'd still rather have Westbrook on my team... but those are the facts.

Offense might have to stay revolving around CP3 even when Blake comes back. I don't want to see us go back to that pick n roll- struggle- hot potato- half court offense again. We have to build upon what we have going right now

Blake needs to be traded then. Asap. He should really jist sit out the rest of the yr. He's going to be blamed for playoff failures next.

Let's ignore Paul having a top 5 scorer on his squad
Let's ignore Paul having more talent/ability on his squad from top-to-bottom
Let's ignore Paul choking it up
Let's ignore Westbrook taking Paul off the dribble, backing him down in the post and getting to the rim at will
Let's ignore Paul only being able to score off of screens

:ehh:

Lmao

Blake is a top 5 scorer, Durant is a top one.

More talent? Their teams were pretty evenly match as far as talent goes. Westbrook, Jackson, Ibaka, Durant, and Adams/Collison isn't vastly worse than CP3, Reddikk, Barnes, Blake, and Jordan. Durant is, by far, the best player on those squads.

All that other stuff doesn't matter. The teams were about evenly matched and it went down to the last play and a couple of calls.
