From all I know is he was a former Blood from Compton that became a stand up comedian, got a sitcom, was on the classic Kings of Comedy and then became a political activist/writer

yeah i remember his first interview on Howard Stern talkin bout growin up and being a blood... it was a good interview. wish i could find it. he said all his friends are dead now

Nah, i think DL had a funny joint back in 07 but Bill Burr held it down 7 straight summers, damn. If this nicca DL wasnt beefin w/a Lupe the Gawd who would even know he exists? Other than totally fukcin up Michael Steele, son has been a ghost.

That's your opinion and i respect it...but to discredit what DL said about Lupe by saying Bill Burr has stolen his thunder is dumb. Like DL needs a "buzz" or whatever you short attention span ass knee grows say nowadays. Anybody who knows comedy knows DL been "holding it down" damn near 20 straight summers to use your term. He's a legend. Matter fact he had a special on Showtime i think earlier THIS year. Like i said Bill Burr is hilarious, but come on man.
