Please just stop. We want to play battlefield games not swat games. Swat games arent popular and its not because they're tactical. Its just because they're tedious and unrealistic.
So you've never played SWAT 4 :beli:

Yea i have. Not enough stages and got tedious like i said. Not dynamic enough.
Yeah but that game is 8 years old. The gunplay, the tactical controls and the atmosphere SAS amazing. With today's engines it could definitely be more dynamic.

I like that type of shyt. I'm kind of looking for a realistic military shooter but it's hard to do that and to be honest if it was realistic like you said people wouldn't play it.

They would play just not the way it was meant to be played. People would be pissed if they got flashbanged and the pc automatically made them surrender.

You can't just think it without being apart of it :shaq2:
You ever play Splinter Cell on PS2? You ever play it on Xbox?
The Xbox version was vastly different (online) and was exactly what you dudes talking about
A very strategic online stealth shooter that required all types of teamwork and coordination
The crowd that wouldn't like it? Sony gamers didn't really get into it :manny:
The newer splinter cells deviated from the formula too much, haven't played the newest one tho...

You are overreacting a little bit. The people who won't take it seriously? They will suck at the game
And that applies to the more casual shooters too. A team of gamers taking it seriously
Covering every exit/etc will dominate those who don't. A more seriously toned game would force everyone who was playing it to slow there rolls.

Having a team with you, and you succeeding under those conditions would be MORE gratifying
Don't believe me?
Are shooters more fun now, or did you have more fun back in the day when ultimately it was tougher to shine?

Bruh please. This is a new era. A team of 4 will sweep the whole building and kill everything. The only thing that can save the opposing team are wedges and cheesy status effecting grenades.

It was a game called full spectrum warrior that came out on the og Xbox and was one of my favorite games of all time. I would love to play a game in that mode. Btw I've had an Xbox one, Xbox 360 at launch I just this generation went away from the Xbox.

I also purchased all the Tom Clancy games and a bunch of the books I fukks with him and Oliver north

Yeah, I still have that game within reach bruh :myman:
But that game was FAR from what we talking about. WE talking Rainbow 6 PC roots type of grind
Well actually, we talking a lil easier than that. But closer to that than F.S.Warrior

Speaking of which, once you put in the secret code to go full realism with no HUD :banderas:
That experience I hope to GOD can be recreated one day.
Any game could take advantage of it. It had that one area.. man, I think I'm about to go try that out again
The code is HA2P1PY9TUR5TLE which would unlock the US.Army no HUD mode
I didn't even know they had an "authentic mode" which could be accessed with the code SWEDISHARMY

And I never even played Full Spectrum Warrior 2 (Ten Hammers) :to:

EDIT: Ok, US Army mode was Xbox exclusive according to what I read :leon:
It was more gangsta than the authentic mode. Authentic took away most of the HUD
US Army mode took it ALL AWAY and it created this atmosphere that I haven't experienced since. I'm goin goin.. back back to Kazeckistan :boss:

I'm talking about a realistic military shooter. That was one of the more realistic games I've played the movement techniques were realistic. I'd also like something with legit jobs...like infantry does what they do, scouts do what we do, tanker so what they do, engineers do what they do, Intel does there thing, and a real logistics with aviation assets from the other branches and the army.

Dude I've been in the Army for 13 years come on.that may be part of the reason I'm such a fan of the game. One of the units I was in while I was in the 75th for those suck ass years helped some of the modeling and tactics. It was going to be used as a training aide but didn't really progress...than they came out with that Americas army game.

That doesn't answer the question. Did you play Full Spectrum Warrior U.S.Army Mode?
It wasn't even revealed it was in the game til after it was in stores
A lot of people never knew about it
And the video I posted goes into the history of this games creation. Says it was used, you saying it didn't really get used :patrice:

All I know, you can't find a video of the mode online which is odd :dwillhuh: I can guess why
