wtf is this bullshyt. is that Hobbit guy real wife going to fukk this whole season. the wedding episode was shyt. i can see why sherlock fans went apeshyt when it was announced she was going to be on the show. i enjoyed her character on case histories but on this show...

I think the problem of this season is very simple, they put two huge story events back to back and as such the crime cases got pushed to the background, almost feeling like an afterthought. The episodes themselves weren't necessarily bad (in fact, regardless of whether you think it fit into the show, the entire wedding speech was brilliantly written) but they messed up by putting two in a row that don't focus on the heart of the show (the crime cases).

though the wedding ep was pretty dope, especially the way Holmes had all the women in his head and used mycroft as a guide to solve the shyt.

There's the moment in the first ep when Sherlock does his 'deduction' thing on her and he is strangely silent after it. It could be that he realized she isn't who she claims to be (eg. taking advantage of John mourning over Sherlock) or that he was simply shocked to find she was actually perfect for John and here to stay (following this season's theme of Sherlock and Mycroft being lonely people).

I'd go with your latter suggestion, most of his deductions were positive things "guardian angel" etc, they setting us up for the almighty
moment. Adding on the whole episode was about find that special one/falling in love/not being alone ( with the whole mayfly man targeting single women to the bridesmaid asking sherlock for wat guys to hook up with) . I guess we'll get more meaning into the whole "redbeard" thing mycroft mentioned but i assume it was probably a time sherlock let down his guard and opened up and got hurt.

That finale. I didn't mind but if you didn't fukk with the first two episodes of this season, this one will win you right back.

I just discovered this show on Tuesday. I've watched all 3 seasons already. . With that being said, I think season 3 was the worst by far. It had really lazy and unimaginative writing at times. The whole Sherlock killing Magnussen bit didn't work at all for me. You expect Sherlock to be more "clever" than that as he would say.
All in all, it's an awesome show. I hope they can return to the form of season 1 and 2 though in season 4.
