They didn't cover the stories during the election out of the fear of potentially costing Biden a victory against Trump. It should have been fairly obvious to anyone that was paying attention to what was going on. With that being said, there's no excuse for still sheltering and covering for him now that Trump is out of office.
Honestly, a lot of those Trump Jr and kids stories were just as wacky and outrageous as this one, yet it didn't stop the mainstream press from reporting on them. So you gotta keep that same consistency. They are essentially covering and hiding his drug problem just as they did with Andrew Gillum.

If this was real it would've made it to all the news stations (NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, MSNBC, local news, etc) not just the Daily Mail (which is known for being unreliable with its news sources)this is the president's son it would've made it on all the news channels just like when Donald Jr made headlines it was on every station.
