I wouldn't expect non-Niners fans to understand this, but the narrative of Kap just naturally regressing is nonsense. He was getting better and better until midway through the 2014 season when half the OL got injured and the FO fukkery with Harbaugh was in full effect. The whole team imploded. Until that point, he was one of the most promising young QBs in the game (passing and running), capable of making every throw on the field, going through his reads and playing creatively. Never turfed passes like he has this year. Remember, it was only his third season when the whole team blew up, he was still a relatively young QB. And now he's playing with the worst OL in the league. You can't put a growing QB through incredible turmoil and expect them to come out whole. It's really no surprise or shock that he looks like this now.

Kap never threw as trash interceptions as Lucks last night, and Luck was turfing passes and whiffing on throws just like Kap has done. Difference is Luck was doing it with time in the pocket and throwing to legit weapons. Kap also has a better career passer rating than Luck and a far better passer rating on this season.

If Chip doesn't get this done, I want him fired by end of season. An opportunity doesn't come around like this too often and I see no fixes for this team that won't take another 3 years.
Our Oline is bad, but not worst 16 bad. He will have plenty of help in running game, and all he has to do is learn his reads and anticipation. Leave the running to the backs and learn to trust the pocket. Then we spend all our picks on secondary and oline.

Letting Harbaugh go was one of the biggest mistakes i've ever seen in sports, but Crabtree had to go. Dude was bytch made and not good enough to be a number 1 WR. Kap put up a very good year in 2013 without Crabtree.it was raining

Chip would find a way to get fleeced in this trade like he did with trading a 2nd rounder for Sam Bradford and how he tried to trade the heart of this defense away for Marcus Mariotta. I know, that Bradford trade was the dumbest one I'd seen in a long time. I'd rather not let Kaep hit the market if possible though. We spend a 2nd rounder on a player about to be cut anyway.

Eagles would win the east
We already won the East. We get Kaep, and we got a decent chance to go deep in playoffs.
Eagles need a good chance to land a splash WR in free agency. Nobody's trying to play with Sam Bradford
. With Kaep, we have a really good shot to use our picks, finally, the right way and build the team Kelly wants. If Kaep could put up with Harbaugh, Kelly is a cakewalk.
What big play receivers? Boldin is old and can't get any separation. VD hands have gotten worse (and they were already sketchy). Our o-line outside of Staley and Boone is an abomination.
