so i'm watching the first day to get a full understanding of the evidence and not just go off tweets..... the defendants mom came outside during the fight and started talking to the brother trying to explain what happened, so it might be hard to for the jury to believe that the defendant was scared/threatened if his own mom is out there trying to talk to the other guys. then his mom is on video telling the defendant to stop when she sees him with the gun

I'm leaning towards not guilty now. Those dudes were possibly still a threat even when retreating.

A medical expert testified that the man who was killed hand's were in this position at the time of death.

yeah i think he'll probably get off at least on a different charge if not the whole thing, but i don't buy that he did this out of fear for his life. typically tough guy with a gun shyt.... look at all the responses in the thread. the temperature is more like "how dare yall come at me like this i got something for yall ass", rather than actual self defense lol. self defense is not "i am mad from a fight so i get to shoot you". people should be made to learn self defense laws as well as shooting safety and mental review before being allowed to purchase a gun.

At least 2 men who came to his home had guns. This isn't a case of Travis trying to play Billy Badass. He was literally defending his family from people who had been told to shoot his shyt up.
